The Foundation & Other Charitable Activities
Through selfless acts, big and small, members of Les Clefs d’Or USA have donated thousands of hours and raised millions of dollars for charities over the years. Caring for the environment, underprivileged, marginalized, ill, and underserved are ways we all make the world a little better.
Some of the many charities that have benefitted from our members’ efforts incluce the Les Clefs d’Or Foundation of the Americas, Hear the Cheers, Howard Brown Health Center, TransLatin@Coalition, California AIDS Ride, Make-a-Wish Foundation, The Gentle Barn, AIDS Walk New York, Crossroads Community, St. Bart’s Homeless Shelter and Soup Kitchen, charitable toy drives, Doctors Without Borders, Lustgarten Foundation, Network for Good, Safe Horizon, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Arthritis Foundation, Alzheimer’s Foundation, Caldwell Soup Kitchen in the South Bronx, Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Million Trees NYC, Habitat for Humanity, Keys for Hope, and Feed your Soles.
Les Clefs d’Or Foundation of the Americas provides financial support to persons who are no longer able to work due to life-threatening illnesses, or who find themselves in need through no fault of their own. Those who may benefit include hotel concierges; former concierges in the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, or Mexico; and significant others of one of the above. Membership in Les Clefs d’Or is not required to receive support from the Foundation. The Foundation awards grants on a case-by-case basis to eligible candidates.
